The Lehigh Valley’s growing population has brought considerable expansion to the size and number of its healthcare facilities.
Snyder Hoffman is excited to participate in responding to this dynamic and fast-paced growth, and our project focus remains on the evolving needs of individual facility owners and managers. Our success has been based upon our ability to adhere to each project’s financial and time constraints while anticipating future requirements for these highly intricate and sophisticated buildings.
Snyder Hoffman is honored to have continuously performed engineering services for FCCC (Fox Chase Cancer Center) for the past 30 years. In that time we have successfully completed over 30 projects for FCCC and 3 projects for neighboring Jeanes Hospital. A sampling of projects completed for FCCC include renovations to the Animal Health Facility, EMB (Endoscopy, Minor Procedure, and Bronchoscopy) Suite, and most recently the BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) Suite. Projects for Jeanes include renovations to the existing chilled water plant and modifications to the power plant.
Snyder Hoffman was selected to provide MEP Engineering services for the construction of a new 75,000 square foot Ambulatory Surgical Center/Medical Office Building located on St. Luke’s Anderson Campus. The project consisted of a three story structure. The first two stories act as a Medical Office Building containing physicians practices, café, and Phlebotomy lab. The third story consists of an Ambulatory Surgical center containing operating rooms, procedure rooms, pre and post operation, and a sterile processing department.
Snyder Hoffman was selected to provide MEP Engineering services for the construction of a new 180,000 square foot General Hospital located in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. The project included all the departments necessary for operation of a hospital including Administration, Data Center, Imaging, Emergency Department, Food Service, Pre and Post Operation, Operating Rooms, Procedure Rooms, Laboratory, Sterile Processing Department and Patient Rooms. In addition to the traditional HVAC systems, Snyder Hoffman Associates also designed a process steam plant.
