Our designs include education, healthcare, municipal, and religious building construction.

Responsibilities:

• Facility-level design- including power distribution, lighting systems, and low-voltage systems.
• Conduct related system calculations.
• Attendance at design meetings.
• Writing technical specifications.
• Collaboration with CAD/BIM Technicians to generate construction documents.
• Answer RFI’s.
• Process submittals.
• Team-up with our construction administration staff to solve any challenges that arise during construction.
• Accountable for the generation of documents that can be easily bid and constructed from, while providing technical support for the project through the construction process.

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 1-5 years experience in electrical engineering/design in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required, familiarity with Revit is a plus.
• EIT certificate and/or PE is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of building codes and local ordinances.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain clean records for Federal and State Criminal History and Child Abuse clearances.
• Must be able to function in a team environment and guide multiple projects from conception to construction.
